My cat is now 5 years old and was registered for insurance as a new kitten. He had struvites at about 2 years old and was hospitalised for a while. The vet fees would have been crippling for me, however, he had the best of attention from the vet and I didn’t have to worry about the medical costs going up and up. The insurance was a blessing for me, and the financial worry was taken away from the worry of a much loved animal being extremely ill.
