Coverage

The AA offer 6 levels of cover for cats and dogs: Their Accident Only pet insurance policy covers claims relating to accidents or injuries only. The vet fee limit is £2,000 renewable annually with £1million Third Party Liability (dogs only) and the policy covers other treatment types and diagnostic test types but payout limits vary. There are lower claim limits for complementary treatments, scans, cruciate ligament injuries and dentistry claims.

Their Maximum Benefit policy options cover accidents and illnesses with vet fees covered up to £1,000 maximum benefit per each condition in their Bronze cover policy, £3,000 maximum benefit per each condition for Silver policy cover and £5,000 maximum benefit per each condition in the Gold cover policy. There are varying payout limits for some treatment types, diagnostic test types and conditions alongside the limits on the policy selected. Once the payout limit for each condition is reached that condition is no longer covered by the policy.

The AA Lifetime cover policy options offer cover for vet fee limits of £3,000 renewable cover with the Silver Plus cover and £5,000 renewable vet fee cover on the Gold Plus plan. The Lifetime policies cover on-going conditions as long as the policy is renewed and there is no break in cover.

Age Limits

8 weeks to 8 years + Cover reduces for pets over 8 years of age.

Waiting Period
